The Scaling MT Speaker Series is a hybrid speaker series featuring conversations with top-tier technology and industry experts to provide strategic insights and technology content for leaders, builders, and tech enthusiasts across Montana.
The event will be offered as a hybrid event with local watch parties in Billings, Bozeman, and Kalispell, as well as an online option.
Xavier Rolet, named by Harvard Business Review as one of the 100 Best CEOs in the World, will kick off the Speaker Series. Rolet will be joined by VP of Engineering & Product of Google Workspace, Philip Brittan to discuss how startups can maximize their value and compete in global markets.

Xavier Rolet - Former Head of the London Stock Exchange
Xavier Rolet is a Harvard University Fellow, a Board member of the Yale University Center for Business and the Environment and a Board member of Columbia Business School. He has held numerous positions in the financial world, including CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, CEO of CQS Management, a global hedge fund, and senior positions at Goldman Sachs, First Boston and Lehman Brothers. A tireless advocate for supporting start-ups and SMEs, he was recognised by the Harvard Business Review as one of the Top 100 CEOs in the world.
Philip Brittan - VP Engineering & Product, Google Workspace
Philip Brittan grew up on a ranch east of Livingston MT, earned a degree in Computer Science from Harvard, and currently works at Google. Prior to Google, he worked for over 30 years as an entrepreneur, CEO, CTO, business leader, innovator, Board member, and adviser. He founded and managed 4 software start-ups, led the fastest-growing business unit in Bloomberg, served as CTO and Global Head of Platform for Thomson Reuters, and had an earlier stint at Google heading up Google Finance. Philip is an innovator and an inventor of several software patents. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager, a PADI Rescue SCUBA Diver, and of course, is Avy 1 certified.
