What: Career summit for middle school and high school students to explore real-world career opportunities in Eastern Montana and beyond, co-hosted by Miles Community College, the Montana Jobs Network, and the Montana High Tech Business Alliance

When: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:

The Skills for the Future Career Summit will bring together middle and high school students from across the region to explore high-paying, in-demand careers available right here in Montana. Students will hear directly from industry professionals, engage with hands-on demonstrations, and learn about education and training pathways that lead to successful careers in our state.

Industries represented will include:

  • Agriculture

  • Bioscience

  • Construction

  • Energy & Natural Resources

  • Manufacturing

  • Photonics & Quantum

  • Semiconductors

  • Technology

  • And more!

The summit is designed to help students connect classroom learning to real-world careers and envision a future where they can stay, work, and thrive in Montana.

By attending, students will:

  • Explore a wide range of Montana-based career pathways

  • Learn about postsecondary education, training, and workforce options

  • Engage with industry role models and professionals

  • Gain inspiration and clarity as they plan for life after high school

We are excited to partner with schools across Eastern Montana to expand career awareness and support workforce readiness for students at all stages of their educational journey.
