Great Falls High Tech Happy Hour Photos hosted by Vision Net, Sept. 18, 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Great Falls for an inspiring evening hosted by Vision Net. CEO Rob Worden shared highlights from Vision Net’s 30 years in business, including its role in building Montana’s fiber backbone and operating the only 800-gigabit fiber connection in the Western U.S. He also invited attendees to the upcoming Future of Data Centers, AI & Energy in Montana event co-hosted with the Alliance at Vision Net’s Billings facility and virtually on October 21.

Rebecca Bruno, International Marketing Officer for Export Montana, also outlined several programs to help Montana companies expand globally through trade missions, grants, and market research.

Finally, Chuck Merja of Sun River Robotics (a.k.a. “Redneck Robotics”) shared stories from his nationally recognized FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team. Serving students from Simms, Fairfield, Sun River, Vaughn, Choteau, and Great Falls, Redneck Robotics has won world championships and continues to inspire the next generation of Montana innovators.
