WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:
Code Girls United, in collaboration with Kalispell Parks and Recreation, will run its “Coding Groovy Unicorns” Summer Camp in a pair of four day sessions. The program is designed for girls ranging from grades 4 - 8 who are creative and interested in learning more about computer science.
During the first 12 hours of class, girls will learn how to create a game by using the MIT App Inventor. Girls and their Groovy Unicorns will learn coding terms as well as crucial lifelong skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and self-confidence. In addition, girls will also work with their Groovy Unicorn to create binary bracelets and a fun game all while learning how to code!
Sessions cost $149 and space is limited to 20 participants.
